The Porn Academy Application Form 2025-2026
When people say they “don’t care what others do in their bed” they often imply that non-normative expressions of being are only allowed to exist behind locked doors. If sex poses such a huge threat to the status quo, the Porn Academy cordially invites you to be that threat. We invite you to take sex out of the bedroom, to reclaim spaces, to get loud! Bring your artistic vision, your interest in filmmaking and your enthusiasm and get ready to tackle challenging tasks and make some magic!

About the Academy:

The Athens Porn Film Festival, Satyrs and Maenads proudly presents the Porn Academy for a second year. The Academy’s goal is to give advice and mentorship towards the creation of short, low budget porn films that meet the culture of current PFFs. The sessions will be held in English, as not both tutors speak Greek. Athens and Greece based applicants will be prioritized. We are aiming for a small group of 6 participants/6 projects in order to provide individual feedback. *

The Porn Academy consists of 10 (approx. 3 hours long) online meetings from August 2025 to April 2026. Our first meeting will be held on Saturday the 30th August at 18:00 UTC+02:00  aka 6 o'clock in the evening (Greek local time).

After this, every following meeting will be decided through a poll each month, so that everybody can attend. We will meet once every month except for September where we will meet twice to get things rolling!

The participation in the Porn Academy costs a fee of 10-20 € per session. We decided to offer a sliding scale, in order to keep the sessions accessible. If your application gets accepted, you will be asked to pay the total amount of 100 -200€ before the 13th of August in order to complete your enrollment. You will be notified on the 4th of August if your application was successful or not. *

The Academy can't provide you with courses on camera, editing and many other technical skills needed in film production. You will have to edit your film by yourself! We will provide you with small info blocks on different topics but for an in depth dive, we suggest that you find extra courses, tutorials as well as time to test and practice your skills. *

About the tutors:

Fucking Conflicts started their journey in 2020. A spontaneous film shooting initiated a solid collaboration between Officer Flower and Iris Glitzer (pronouns of both: they/them), resulting in the production of further juicy films, with a soft spot for storytelling, a DIY approach and a cinephile toolset. Fucking Conflicts’ work has been presented at porn film festivals around the globe as well as in broader themed festivals, being multiply nominated and winning the International Short Factual Film Award at the Athens PFF 2023 (for “Stalking Athens”), the Best Ass-a-liciousness Award at the PFF Vienna 2024 and the Best Sex-Positive Film Award at the SECS Fest 2024 in Seattle (both for “June in Warsaw”), as well as the Outstanding Artistic Contribution Award at the Hacker PFF Rome 2024 (for “Input Error II”). Since 2024 they are officially tutors of the Porn Academy of the Athens PFF. Fucking Conflicts wish to further explore landscapes of lust, representing and staging sexualities through a queer feminist lens.
