We accept participants on an ongoing basis, and it is thus first-come-first-served based on a desire to put together balanced ensemble teams. The deadline for registrations is April 1st at 23:59.

An ensemble that suits you *

We will put together up to 6 different ensembles, each based on the participants' preferences for level of tuition. This means that you will be matched up with other musicians who are at a level similar to yours, choosing the category you feel best suits you.

IT'S NEW FOR ME - you're new to jazz and improvisation, but you're ready to dive in!

I'VE BEEN PRACTICING - you know jazz and have played it a bit. You may know a few jazz standards.

VERY EXPERIENCED - you've been playing jazz for a while, know a handful of standards by heart and have played at jam sessions before.

PERFORMING MUSICIAN - you consider yourself a professional jazz musician, play concerts, jam and know many few standards by heart.

What do you expect from the camp? What do you hope to get out of it? *

For example - want to learn to jam, want to be inspired, want to network, want to be challenged? What is important to you?

Can you bring your own instruments? *

We make sure that all ensemble rooms have a PA system, but apart from that, we generally do not have any instruments or equipment at the camp - drum kits, electric pianos, amplifiers, etc.

We can check if we can borrow some equipment, but we cannot promise anything about the quality. Of course, if you come from abroad, we will be extra helpful towards things like drum kits, amps, electric pianos - but we need to know what you'll need in advance :-)

Do you need accommodation in Aalborg? *

We cannot promise that we can offer accommodation for everyone, but we can look into it for you.

There are a limited number of places in an apartment/living room at Huset i Hasserisgade, where we have previously had a dormitory.

In that case, it is with others and it is not possible to keep items locked privately.

Bonus: Supernova Jazz Blast Festival *

All camp participants can attend the Supernova Jazz Blast festival for free, where you can experience the instructors at the camp playing concerts with their own music and you can play in "real" jam sessions.
