Join us for a screening of "The Pieces I Am," a documentary on author Toni Morrison. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with Dr. Miriam Petty & Dr. Justin Mann.

Dr. Miriam Petty is an Associate Professor of Radio/Television/Film in the School of Communication. Petty writes and teaches about race, stardom, performance, reception, adaptation, and genre and is especially interested in the history of African American representation in Hollywood film.

Dr. Justin Mann is an Assistant Professor of English in Weinberg. Mann has research and teaching interests in African American literature, speculative fiction, black feminist theory and queer of color critique, and security studies.
