February 6th (via Teams), 1700h Oxford / 1800h CET
The Oxford Perspektiva society presents Daria Apakhonchich, an artist, feminist and LGBTQ+ activist and Russian language teacher from St Petersburg. She is known for performance art protests against war, militarism, domestic violence and in support of jailed activists. She also writes and edits feminist books and children's tales. She will address questions of how feminists adapt their protest repertoires to a repressive political environment, and the role of feminist activism in a wartime context.
