Join @strathclyde.equate and @gufemeng from the 23rd to 30th of May and design and develop a wind farm proposal! This project is open to ALL students across Glasgow and will run in a blended format from the 23rd-30th May 2022. (Monday the 23rd and 30th May will be in person.)
23rd - 27th May: Mentoring sessions (9am-4pm)
28th - 29th May: No sessions (groups can finish up proposals)
30th May: Presentation & Prize Day (in person)
Over the week, industry professionals will give workshops covering the technical, environmental, social and economic aspects to give you a comprehensive understanding of how a wind farm is designed. You will have access to industry software and the opportunity to network with like-minded individuals and specialists from the renewables industry!
This is an amazing experience to add to your CV and talk with recruiters about, where you will develop both personal and technical skills. There will also be several prizes up for grabs, ranging from wind farm site visits to vouchers!
