Public Art - Artist Interest Form

Use this form to notify the West Town Chamber of your interest in installing public art in the West Town neighborhood. We utilize this form for three opportunities:


1) The West Town Public Art Program

The Public Arts Program within West Town values cultural diversity and takes art out of designated space and places it in the public context to create full accessibility. Through highlighting local, emerging, and established artists; our purpose is to culturally invigorate our vibrant community by enriching the neighborhood with pieces of public art, which will help to stimulate the local economy and establish West Town as a unique cultural destination. Public Art Grants are distributed through SSA 29.


2) Under the Viaduct - Chicago & Lessing Rotating Gallery

The West Town SSA provides funding for the rotating gallery of murals under the viaduct at W Chicago Ave and N Lessing St. These murals are intended to be temporary, with a display span of anywhere from one to five years. The application is available online.
