Member Application
The Artisan Grain Collaborative (AGC) is a network of farmers, millers, maltsters, bakers, chefs, food manufacturers, brewers, distillers, agricultural researchers, and other individuals and organizations working collectively to strengthen the Upper Midwest grainshed.

Our membership process includes the following steps:
  • Complete this initial application form, which should take approximately 20 minutes. We are a community-based network that thrives on member engagement, and this is your first opportunity to share about your work and how you hope to connect to, participate in, and learn together with the broader grainshed network. Please take your time with the questions and help us understand your background and how you hope to engage with and contribute to our network.
  • At the close of this application form, you will be asked to affirm your willingness and commitment to AGC's two membership requirements: completing an annual survey and abiding by our Member & Staff Code of ConductAGC's Member & Staff Code of Conduct is built on our organizational core values: knowledge sharing, collaboration & deep relationships, environmental & economic stewardship, and access & equity. Please read these carefully and ensure that you are willing to uphold these core values and follow the Code of Conduct before completing this application form. The benefits and expectations of AGC membership are described here.
  • AGC's Coordinating Committee, comprised of our Working Group Coordinators, reviews and makes decisions about membership applications on a monthly basis. Undecided applications are sent to AGC's Steering Committee for a decision. The approval process may take up to several months because of the frequency with which these groups meet.
  • Once approved, new members will be sent a required New Member Intake Form to provide additional information. Upon the return of the New Member Intake Form, your membership with AGC will become official and we will add you to our website member map, distribution lists, working group(s), and other internal resources exclusive to AGC members.
If you have questions about the membership process or difficulty completing this form, please reach out to AGC's Network Engagement Manager, Sarah, at selliott@graincollaborative.com -- we're so glad that you are interested in becoming a member and can't wait to learn about you and your role in the grain chain!
