Teacher Application Form - We the People: Civics that Empowers All Students, 2024 Cohort
Thank you for your interest in becoming a part of the We the People network, a nationwide K-12 civic education professional development and implementation network, impacting more than 100,000 teachers and 30 million students since inception! Through a grant from the U.S. Department of Education, the We the People: Civics that Empowers All Students (CEAS) project supports teacher professional learning and classroom implementation for upper elementary and middle schools across all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

If you are a teacher in grades 4-8 working with underserved populations in Arizona, you could be eligible! Participants receive stipends, a set of textbooks, free online resources, and rich opportunities for professional development with scholars and mentor teachers. If you are not selected for this cohort, are you interested in becoming a control group teacher for the 2024-2025 school year? A control group teacher has never had training in the We the People curriculum. You would receive a stipend to take a pre and post-instruction survey and administer an online pre- and post-survey your students. You would not participate in professional development or use the curriculum in 2024-2025. You would receive priority registration to participate in the 2025-2026 professional development program. *
