"The perspective of travelers with disability-overcoming barriers of non-accessible tourism"

Greetings,

We, Center for Value Development, are a non-governmental organization. Our professional team consists of social workers, psychologists, a communication and marketing expert and expert in religious studies. Executive director of Center for Value Development is a psychologist, social worker and soon a psychotherapist. She is also a person with a disability.

Through our organization we promote and encourage hiring people with disabilities and offer support to adults with disabilities, children with developmental difficulties and their families.
Currently, we are working on a project called “Inclusive tourism- beauty of tourism for all”. This project is focused on empowering people who work in tourism to have a quality approach to all the guests, including people with disabilities. It allows us to have different kinds of educational programs for people working in tourism, such as basic sign language.

Within the mentioned programme, we are organizing a round table which will take place on 5th of February at 13pm (Central European Time) and it will be held online via Google Meet.
The main goal of this round table is to share experiences in the field of improving accessibility of tourist services to people with disabilities and, on the other hand, to share some experiences and good practices in the tourism sector. By doing so, we can learn a lot from each other and create a base for making tourism around the globe (even) more accessible.

The invitation to the round table is attached below. We hope to see you on the 5th of February.

You can confirm your participation by responding to this google forms no later than 30th of January.
