This survey is designed to help me understand where you are coming from (it's a "pre-assessment" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pre-assessment)!

As discussed on the course website, this course assumes absolutely ZERO programming knowledge, so I have no expectation you will have any experience with any of the topics listed below. Since some students will be coming into this course with past experience with R or other programming languages, however, it's helpful for me as an instructor to know where people are coming from so I can manage the course appropriately.
