On Sunday, May 5th at 1:30pm at the Crocker Art Museum, the St. John's Racial Justice Team, with the leadership of museum docent and St. John's member Janet Carlson, will host an Exhibition Tour of Black Artists in America. Noteworthy stops along the tour include
SOJOURNER, a sculpture by Elizabeth Catlett,
Fulfillment, a painting by Charles White,
Four Figures, a kaleidoscopic work by Minnie Evans, and a Harlem Renaissance painting by Beauford Delaney titled,
Portrait of James Baldwin.
Tickets are $10/person and will be purchased as a group ahead of time.
