Confidence and Curiosity: Girls at the Telescope
Thank you for your interest in our "Confidence and Curiosity: Girls at the Telescope" workshop. The Night Sky Network and Reach for the Stars: NASA Science for Girl Scouts have teamed up to offer free online workshops for amateur astronomers about the new Space Science badges and best practices for engaging Girl Scouts with astronomy.  The workshop teams interactive live sessions and chances to explore your thoughts with other astronomers in a community forum.

In this online workshop, you will be able to explore some Girl Scout-tested, effective ways to interact with girls in informal learning environments. You can use techniques to help create an inviting environment where everyone has the opportunity to learn more about space science. Connect with a community that shares your dedication to inclusive outreach. We strongly recommend taking this workshop with another person from your club, so you can implement these strategies together.

Our next workshop will be from : August 8th - 28th, 2021. Application deadline is July 25th. Live sessions will be on Tuesdays at 12 noon Pacific / 3 pm Eastern on August 10, 17 and 24th.
