AVID is a college preparatory program designed to assist students “in the middle” with the necessary skills
and coursework to be prepared for matriculation to college following graduation from high school. We work
with students on organization, time management, test-taking, and other study skills strategies in addition to
supporting them in Advanced Courses to prepare them for classes such as Advanced Placement and Dual Credit courses in High School, to earn college credit before graduating from high school.
