LTUSD Grade Level Application 23-24
We are interested in supporting grade level overnight field trips that enrich the curriculum being taught at your grade level as well as the students' lives.  We would like to help fund trips that actively engage students, are student-centers, provide an opportunity that students would otherwise not get, and directly meet the standards for your particular grade level.  We also expect every field trip to have some nominal cost to the students involved.  Please complete one application per grade level per school who has an overnight, standards based field trip planned.

Names of Classroom Teachers who will be attending.  We will provide a $100 per night stipend to each classroom teacher who is attending.  This stipend will be sent directly to the teacher in June after the grant reporting has been completed. *

Due to the challenges CA school districts are facing getting accurate numbers for qualifying free/reduced lunch students, we are using the following percentages for each LTUSD elementary school.  We averaged your 4 years of percentages that your past teachers provided to come up with these totals:  
Bijou and Tahoe Valley: 55% 
Sierra House: 50%
LTESMS: 20%
We will be able to fund this percentage of your total students at $75 a student.  Please use the percentage that applies to your school, and let us know your number of socio-economically disadvantaged students.

Please provide a summary of your trip.  Be sure to describe the purpose of the trip, the objectives you hope the students achieve, the standards that will be covered on this trip, and the social and emotional learning that will occur on this trip. *
A final report is required.  It is a reflection for all students to complete. A template will be sent and can be found on our website.
