Prayer in Three Major Faiths - Booking
The Ignatian Spirituality Centre in partnership with the Scottish Roman Catholic Bishops’ Committee for Interreligious Dialogue offer three afternoons on prayer.  14:30-17:00
Each afternoon will focus on one major world faith.  This year we shall look at prayer in the Jewish, Sikh and Islamic traditions.
We shall consider how each tradition sees prayer and the different ways of praying in that tradition.
There will be an opportunity to consider what is important to each of these three major faiths.
Participants will also be able to find out the significance of a Jewish prayer shawl, Sikh prayer beads, Muslim positions of prayer.
Where appropriate participants will be invited to participate in prayer.
