We need volunteers in the following areas:
1. Welcome Tent: serves as the central hub for visitors and new participants at the amateur radio field day. Shares experiences in Amateur Radio or reasons for joining, shares types of club activities, encourages recruitment with membership forms, shows the public the usefulness and how to operate a handheld UHF/VHF radio...You don't have to be a seasoned HAM, just have a willingness to meet people and share.
2. Makers Tent: "Makers Tent" is designed to engage the public, especially children and families, in hands-on activities related to electronics, communication, and STEM. Training provided!
3. Radio Operators: focused on operating radio equipment and communicating with other amateur radio stations across different bands and modes.
4. Get On the Air Operators: Experienced hams are needed to assist newly licensed hams and unlicensed visitors in making contacts.
5. Set Up and Tear Down: We will need volunteers for setting up starting at 8am, Saturday, June 28. We will then need volunteers for tear down on Sunday, starting at 1pm, June 29. We also need sign placement and recovery teams.
