Continuous Coverage Governor Request Sign-On

Over half of California’s children rely on Medi-Cal. They need reliable, continuous health care coverage. Yet from June - September, 2023, the state allowed 150,000 children to be dropped from Medi-Cal.

The solution is clear: Governor Newsom can fund continuous coverage for young children in the 2024-2025 state budget. Join us in signing on to the letter linked above. We can #KeepKidsCovered, because all children deserve health care.

The Children's Partnership is using this form to collect state and local organizational sign-ons to the letter linked above, supporting the request to fund and green-light implementation for Medi-Cal continuous coverage protection for young children in the Governor's January 2024 budget. By signing your organization onto the letter by December 8, 2023, you are formally expressing your organization's support for this request.

“On behalf of California’s babies, toddlers and young children, the undersigned organizations write to urge you to prioritize funding for and give the financial greenlight to implement the multi-year continuous Medi-Cal coverage protection for young children in your upcoming 2024-2025 budget proposal.” [Read more in the full letter.]
