Code of Conduct for Coaches

I HEREBY PLEDGE TO ACT IN A RESPONSIBLE MANNER AS A COACH IN THE PARKLAND YOUTH LEAGUE RESPECTFUL OF ALL FELLOW COACHES, PLAYERS, UMPIRES AND PARENTS.

* I will place the emotional and physical well-being of my players ahead of any personal desire to win.

* I will do my best to provide a safe playing situation for my players.

* I will lead by example in demonstrating fair play and sportsmanship for all of my players.

* I have read and understand the league bylaws and agree to abide by these rules. I agree to conduct my team in the spirit of these rules.

* I will treat all umpires, opposing players and coaches, and parents with respect and I will require that all parents do the same.

* I am aware of my responsibilities as a role model for the youths that I coach and I agree to abide by this CODE at all times.

By typing my name here, I agree to this Code of Conduct for Coaches. I also agree to make sure all coaches associated with my team understand and abide by this pledge as well. *
