Our School Site Council is an advisory board made up of parents, teachers, administrators, students, support staff, and community members. We have a student vacancy. Following student candidates submitted their names for SSC. As per school site council guidelines, a ballot must be presented. Please vote for 1 candidate by selecting a box. My name is Rhian Haley Cabrera, in 7th grade. I am interested in joining the School Site Council because I want to be able to help the school make important decisions, and help improve the school for students like me, teachers, and other staff members. I think I am responsible enough to make these decisions because I have tried and gotten the Principal's Award 2020 - 2021, and I try my best to reach my goals, for example getting high grades. For these reasons, this is why I am interested in joining the School Site Council, and why I think I am responsible enough to make important decisions for the school.

My name is Aydan Dorscht-Solis and I'm in 8th grade. I would like to participate in the School Site Council. When I was attending Musick Elementary School I was elected treasurer for the school. I would like to get back to being involved with school's programs, sports and clubs. For the past few years I have been An A grade student. I would want to help out the school with care and passion. I'm a team player because during lunch and after school I help my friends with their homework by tutoring them. I don't give up during assignments, projects, and I'm a team player in everything that I do. I know this year isn't going to be the easiest because of the pandemic but I know the other members of the council and I will try our best to make the best decisions for the school and students. During the pandemic I was diagnosed with epilepsy and missed over a week of school.
