Thank you for your interest in joining the NAWIC Midlands Committee.

NAWIC is an international not-for-profit association dedicated to the advancement of women in the construction industry. Our aim is to support women in construction through their careers, to celebrate and platform their accomplishments, to make a lasting positive impact on the construction industry, and to inspire the next generation of women into construction related roles.

The Midlands region covers both East Midlands and West Midlands, including: Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Coventry, Walsall, Derbyshire, Herefordshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Rutland, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire.

The school liaison committee role will be focused on making contact with schools in the Midlands area, both primary and secondary, to organise and take part in events as part of our ‘Bridging the Gap’ campaign. While you will be the main point of contact for school contact and school events, you would be supported by the co-chairs and deputy chair in this role.
