Board Roles and Responsibilities
- Committee Chair - overall point person with the BAO team and UD staff liaison. Serve as event chair or delegator.
- Communications Chair - chief communicator with alumni base coordinating social media platforms and any other communication efforts.
- Campus Partner Chair - chief engagement coordinator charged with sourcing Black alumni for engagement opportunities with campus partners.
- Young Alumni Chair - alumnus or alumna charged with sourcing young alumni to be included in BAO efforts and engagement opportunities.
Time Commitment: 3 hours a month (may increase during peak event months)Each role is a two-year term. With one opportunity for re-election in the same role before one’s eligibility expires.
