Topic: Leadership Communication Along the Spectrum - From Autonomy to Micromanagement

Workshop Facilitator: Prof. Michelle Bligh, Professor of Organizational Behavior (Claremont Graduate University) and Dean of School of Social Science, Policy, and Evaluation.

Navigating workplace relationships can be extremely challenging, as leaders have to balance what, when, and how to share information with bosses, teammates, and followers. We will focus on two critical elements of leadership communication:1.) initiating difficult conversations and 2.) developing more effective listening strategies. Topics covered will include influence tactics, persuasion, initiating difficult conversations, and active listening skills.

This is a great opportunity to develop your leadership and soft skills and learn about our new Leadership Development Certificate program.

Coffee and cookies will be served. RSVP is required as space is limited.
