2023 Harold Matthews Cup and SG Ball Cup Player Expressions Of Interest  - Wests/Macarthur Squads

Applications close Friday 9th September 2022.

Players will need to be available to train and trial on ALL the following dates to be considered for selection -

Under 18's & 19's –

  • Monday 3rd of October 2022  - Training 5:30pm to 7:30pm
  • Wednesday 5th October 2022 - Training  5:30pm to 7:30pm
  • Friday 7th October 2022 - Training  5:30pm to 7:30pm
  • Saturday 8th October - Trial game
Under 16's and 17's –

  • Monday 10th October 2022 - Training  5:30pm to 7:30pm 
  • Wednesday 12th October 2022 - Training  5:30pm to 7:30pm
  • Friday 14th October 2022 - Training  5:30pm to 7:30pm 
  • Saturday 15th October 2022 - Trial game

All successful applicants will be notified via the email address provided in the form below and further information will be shared regarding training and game venues for trials.

Please note –

  • 2023 local 16-year-olds will be trialing for both Harold Matthews Cup (17’s) and Andrew Johns Cup (16’s).
  • 2023 non-local 16-year-olds will only be eligible to trial for Harold Matthews Cup (17’s) and if not successful will be unable to trial for the Andrew Johns Cup due to not being a local junior.  
  • 2023 local 18-year-olds will be trialing for both SG Ball Cup (19’s) and Laurie Daley Cup (18’s).
  • 2023 non-local 18-year-olds will only be eligible to trial for SG Ball Cup Cup (19’s) and if not successful will be unable to trial for the Laurie Daley Cup (18’s) due to not being a local junior.
