Are you interested in coming to HSSPV for a day of service with your company, organization, or other group? We can offer you a variety of weekday service opportunities for groups of 5-12 people on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday from 8 am until noon.

Volunteering for groups usually involves cleaning kennels, helping with laundry and dishes, and other morning chore assistance. Your group can also help with behavior and training by doing a class with our trainer and a dog at the shelter (depending on availability of trainer on day of service).

Since additional planning is required to accommodate groups of volunteers, we ask for a minimum donation of $10 per participant due the day of service. Please prepare a single payment for entire group ahead of time. (Ex: Group of 10 people should arrive ready to make a single contribution of $100). Cash, card, or checks accepted.
