As a relatively new parent, with kids starting to register for things I understand this is the annoying section. Every sport and activity your student is in is charging an arm and a leg, so I will try to make it as transparent as possible. Please let me know if you have any questions.

To complete registration, and reserve your student's spot in the competition band, you will receive an email with instructions on how to pay for the following:

$160 - cost of band camp/uniform rental for the season. If you have two students in the band, each additional student will only be $80.

If you already have marching shoes from a previous season, you are good to go! If you are new to the group, you will need to get yourself a pair of marching shoes. The website link above is a private online store that our uniform company running to make sure all of you are taken care of. This is new this year, because we have had shoe problems in the past. If you can't buy shoes during the registration process, I can try to find some used shoes here, but the condition isn't always guaranteed. Let us know if you need help.

$40 School Activity fee : this will be assessed by the main office of the school on to your student's account at some point in the fall with little to no warning to you, I know that is annoying so I don't want you to get caught off guard. This is the fee that is assessed to all Fall athletes, and anyone who is in a club or activity. The band department doesn't have control over this.

The only other costs I can think of that may come up during the season is the Marching Sequoits Merch store (all optional purchases there) Color Guard makeup, and McDonalds runs by your students during the dinner breaks of Band Camp : )
