URI Health Services offers high quality, online Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation instruction for adults, children & infants.
The online training includes:
*The American Heart Association (AHA) Chain of Survival, specifically the Basic Life Support (BLS) components
*The importance of early use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
*Effective ventilations using a barrier device
*The importance of teams in a multi-rescuer resuscitation & performance as a effective team member during multi-rescuer CPR
*Relief of foreign-body airway obstructions (choking) for adults & infants

Following competition of the online course, you will need to schedule an appointment with Health Promotions, either by phone at 401-874-5954 or by email at URIHealthPromotion@etal.uri.edu,  to take the In-Person manikin skills assessment portion to receive your certification.


CPR Class Cost is $45 for URI Students, Faculty, Staff & Alumni; $60 for All Others

Upon receipt of your registration and payment, an online class registration code and directions will be emailed to you.
