A FREE music program for the Payson community ♪ June & July 2020

The program has been completely restructured for 2020 in consideration of the pandemic to help make things safer for everyone. There will be no group music outside of family units. We will strive to make the experience worth while and special for each individual student.

About the Program

Our teachers will offer whatever level of social distancing requested by parents for the one-on-one lessons.

The keyboard and all shared touch points in the room will be sanitized between lessons.

Individual VBS-style Bonus Lessons will take the place of our Monday Group sessions. These can be scheduled right after each individual lesson or family unit.

Main Teacher for 2020

Our main teacher for the 2020 summer program is Sydney Peterson. She is currently studying at Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota to pursue degrees in Elementary Education and Instrumental Music Education.

Pick from the enrollment options below. Individual VBS-style Bonus Lessons can be scheduled right after each PreK-8th grade student's lesson. These will take the place of our Monday groups in 2020. These Bonus Lessons can include siblings together. *

Student's Music Experience Level

1) Absolute Beginner (no musical experience)

2) Beginner (limited experience)

3) Intermediate (3-6 years of experience)

4) Advanced (multiple years of training)

Student's Age Level *

For One-on-One Lessons & Bonus Lessons. The teachers will do their best to practice cautionary measures. We will sanitize all shared touch points between lessons. What level of social distancing is requested for lesson time?

I would be comfortable with whatever cautions the teacher decides is prudent.

I would like the teacher to remain at least six feet distance apart during the lesson time.

I would like the teacher to wear a mask during the lesson time.

Booklets

I understand that although the program is free a $10 fee is collected to help cover the cost of everyone's booklets. [information will be sent in your registration follow-up email]

Yes, Rock of Ages may use photos or videos that include my child to help promote the program

Each Bonus Lesson will include a snack time. Out of caution only factory-sealed individual packets will be served. Please indicate any allergies or other notes.

Picking Out A Lesson Slot

You will receive an email with instructions for picking the weekly lesson time slot.

You must respond to the email and pick out a slot to confirm your enrollment or placement on the waiting list.

We desire to serve as many students as possible. Please note that two unexcused absences will result in someone on the waiting list receiving your time-slot.

Piano practice rooms will be open during all lesson hours. You may sign-up for practice times.
