Spring 2024 Project Linus Make a Blanket Day Sign Up Form

This Make a Blanket Day will be at the College of the Canyons East Gym, from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM on Saturday, March 2, 2024. Please join us during our semi-annual blanket-making day! If you can't stay for the whole time, that's completely fine. No experience needed! Service hours are guaranteed upon request and emailed shortly after you sign out and/or drop off your blankets. Service hour forms are NOT signed after this date and are only sent electronically.

Please BRING FLEECE to this event! A child sized blanket consists of a single piece of POLAR, BLIZZARD, or ANTIPILL fleece no smaller than 1.5 yards (54 inches in length). Also, Joann Fabrics is a great place to buy your fleece!

IN PERSON OPTION: The In person event will be held inside the East Gym from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Your service hours will be based on the amount of time you stayed at the event, NOT the number of blankets made. There will be a sign-in/sign-out table logging your time stayed. 1 hour in person= 1 hour of service

DROP OFF OPTION: If you are unable to stay, you are welcome to DROP OFF completed blankets from 10:00 AM-2:00 PM in exchange for service hours. 1 blanket = 2 hours per 1 person (MUST be at least 1.5 yards in size to count for 2 hours). You MUST drop off on this day for service hours. The drop-off area will be a table under an E-Z Up right outside the COC East Gym.
