What to Expect:
• Please bring relevant materials related to your presentation
• Please be prepared with a time-flexible 20 minute presentation. We strongly urge interaction and engagement.  - Students will rotate through all sessions, so be prepared to repeat your session.
• Time commitment - approximately 4 hours.
• Virtual Panel - a panel will be held for students to watch from their home schools. If in-person sessions are not possible, we will shift to a fully online panel
• Size of session groups - we anticipate 15-20 per session, with 75-100 total coming, but we will keep you updated with final numbers. Attending students will be coming from high schools, and potentially middle schools in our region - Dauphin, Cumberland, and Perry Counties.

PCD provides students with an "artifact" (form to fill out) to demonstrate they have attended and learned about careers. This is used to comply with a PA Department of Education mandate.

What to be sure to include in your presentation:
Info about your industry, organization, and talent needs
What are the educational requirements for those positions- we like to demonstrate that there are opportunities for all, whether through on-the-job training, certification/apprenticeships, 2-year or 4-year postsecondary
degrees.
What are salary ranges for the careers you discuss?
What qualities do you do you look for in candidates, what hard/soft skills?
Please include stories that students can relate to. For example, discuss your own career path, your high school educational challenges and successes, what led you to this career?
