Thank you for registering your child for Children's Church at The United Church in Meadowood (UCiM). We have a lot of fun planned for this year.

A main priority for Children's Church is providing a safe and engaging environment for your children. Part of that commitment is realized through our Duty of Care policy. All of our leaders have been through a volunteer screening and training process to ensure that we are providing the highest standard of safety for your children at UCiM.

Information received is confidential and is being gathered for the purposes of serving your child while in the care of UCiM. Any medical information collected here serves to authorize UCiM, and its staff and volunteers, to obtain medical assistance in emergencies.

Helping Out: Children’s Church is not possible without the help of our parents and volunteers! We always love an extra pair of hands in our classes. It takes a village to raise a child and a congregation to raise our children in faith. It is our expectation that everyone in the church, parents and non-parents alike, will take a turn in leadership in our Children’s Church and associated activities. When will you assist? Please check which option works best for you (Even if you can’t make every Sunday in a session, your assistance is needed.)

All of our Children's Church leaders and helpers are required to complete criminal record /vulnerable sector checks and take part in Duty of Care training.   Your record checks can be obtained online through the church and we will cover the cost.
Throughout the year,  we will be taking  photographs of Children's Church children  participating in different events. These photos will be posted in the church as well as on the UCiM website. Names of children will not appear with photos. Please check your preference especially if you DO NOT wish your child’s image to appear in any posting to our website or social media:

The United Church in Meadowood is collecting and retaining this personal information for the purpose of enrolling your Child in our programs, to assign the student to the appropriate classes, to develop and nurture ongoing relationships with you and your Child, and to inform you of program updates and upcoming opportunities at our organization. This information will be maintained indefinitely as it is a requirement of our insurance company and legal counsel.
