Louisiana Virtual Support Group for OCD and Related Disorders
Rise Center for OCD and Anxiety is currently offering a free, virtual support group for OCD and related disorders (body dysmorphic disorder, hoarding disorder, body-focused repetitive disorders, illness anxiety, etc). This group is open to individuals who suffer from these disorders, as well as their family and friends. The support group is not a therapy group, and is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The purpose of the group is to provide a safe space to discuss relevant topics, give support and encouragement, and create a sense of community. Current rotating moderators include Kristin Fitch, Melissa Dufrene, Michele Carroll, Ashley Rush, and Taylor Ceroni.

The group is held twice a month via the HIPAA-compliant version of Zoom video. Participants are welcome to attend either or both meetings.

  • Tuesday: The second Tuesday of the month 7 – 8pm (Central Time)
  • Friday: The fourth Friday of the month 11am – 12pm (Central Time)
