AB 1436 will force mom and pop owners to go without rents for many years. This creates injustice by encouraging people, sometimes high-income individuals, to take advantage of the law and to abuse mom and pop property owners. This law practically allows profiteers and opportunists to live rent free, which is completely against constitutions.

We homeowners strongly oppose this socially and legally irresponsible bill. Californian housing providers have been shocked, frustrated, scared and confused, and feel helpless, ignored, and betrayed in this already horrible pandemic.

Let's join together for a rally against David Chiu, the main author of AB 1436!!

Because of Covid-19, we won't distribute anything, other than banner, handhelds, flags, for the rally. Please bring your own preparation for the rally, including food, face coverings, water, etc.

Please keep social distancing, and please provide own transportation!
