Susan Masterson is a very experienced English teacher and has taught from Grade 2 to College level (higher education). Over the last three years she has focused her attention on the Waldorf Movement in Taiwan, giving workshops and mentoring the English teachers in schools.

Susan has been closely working with Hai-Siann these years. This time Taiwan Waldorf Education Movement Federation (TWEF) has a good opportunity to share this resource to all of you who are interested in Waldorf English teaching and learning.

This year, Susan and the TWEF would love to deepen our English workshop based on Reading and Writing workshop in 2018. This is because one of our greatest challenges at the middle and high school levels today is getting our students to write in the foreign language. In this two-day workshop we will discuss a broad spectrum of classroom exercises and written assignments that will spark creativity and motivate our youngsters to express their own thoughts and ideas. Additionally, we will have a look at productive ways to assess their work, keeping our students motivated to further improve their writing skills.
