There is a stir in the air. Many people have now gone back to work. Some of the previous restrictions have been lifted, and people are anxious to come back to church again.  We may come back to the church building soon, but we have not ceased "being" the Church. It is so important to make sure that we don't let the devil (our adversary) get a win out of our quarantine time. Heaven has a mission for us. We need to look for how God has been preparing us to become the Church on a mission.
ISAIAH 49:1-7—Coasts and islands, listen to me; distant peoples, pay attention. The Lord called me before I was born. He named me while I was in my mother’s womb. 2 He made my words like a sharp sword; he hid me in the shadow of his hand. He made me like a sharpened arrow; he hid me in his quiver. 3 He said to me, “You are my servant, Israel, in whom I will be glorified.” 4 But I myself said: I have labored in vain, I have spent my strength for nothing and futility; yet my vindication is with the Lord, and my reward is with my God. 5 And now, says the Lord, who formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob back to him so that Israel might be gathered to him; for I am honored in the sight of the Lord, and my God is my strength—   6 he says,“It is not enough for you to be my servant raising up the tribes of Jacob and restoring the protected ones of Israel. I will also make you a light for the nations, to be my salvation to the ends of the earth.” 7 This is what the Lord,  the Redeemer of Israel, his Holy One, says to one who is despised, to one abhorred by people, to a servant of rulers:“Kings will see, princes will stand up, and they will all bow down because of the Lord, who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel—and he has chosen you.”
Messiah says, "The Lord called me before I was born. He named me while I was in my mother’s womb. 2 He made my words like a sharp sword; he hid me in the shadow of his hand. He made me like a sharpened arrow; he hid me in his quiver."     How does the Scriptural account of Jesus' life verify he was the Messiah as written by Isaiah in this chapter?
Matthew 1:21,(CSB)—  She will give birth to a son, and you are to name him Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”
John 14: 10, (NKJV) —Jesus speaking, “Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.”
John 1: 10-13 (NKJV)— He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. 11 He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name
What was the mission Jesus was called to do? (see v.5)
