氣候緊急時代已經來臨，氣候變遷對環境、經濟及社會造成之影響與衝擊日益嚴峻。2022年世界地球日(4/22)聚焦氣候變遷，正是因應極端氣候及氣候緊急時代，呼籲我們嚴重正視此迫在眉睫的問題。
This year’s Earth Day focuses on “climate”, and sends out a serious signal: Now is the time to face this increasingly severe emergency, which affects the future of our living environment, economy, and society. Now is the moment to change it all.
《氣候緊急行動系列國際論壇之一：水「水即未來 No Water No Future」》於2021年地球日舉行，已獲得廣大迴響，會議中提出具體水資源解決方案及倡議，論壇手冊已獲得國家圖書館典藏(索書號為554.6106 8593 110)，並已向聯合國及眾多國家提供作為建言，踏出水及諸多環境問題改善的第一步。
Being the first of the Climate Emergency Action Forum Series, last year’s forum was held on Earth Day, focusing on the theme of “water”. Thanks to all participants, the forum was a great success, with a concrete solution and initiative towards water resource problems being jointly proposed. Furthermore, the forum handbook is now officially included in the National Central Library (Call Number: 554.6106 8593 110), and shared with the UN and multiple countries, as a proposal for the next step in changing the many issues of our environment’s future.
應對氣候緊急狀態，水資源議題只是其中一個面向，因此「氣候緊急行動系列國際論壇之二：生－改變契機No Change No Chance」將在2022地球日(4/22)更加擴大舉行，因為我們與地球正共面臨生存、生活、生命、生態等諸多考驗，我們不做出改變，機會就不再；敬邀全球氣候勇士共同研議氣候緊急及氣候變遷調適，為浴火地球建立一條重生路。
However, water is but one string among the many entangles of climate emergency. Therefore, the forum’s second episode, “Climate Emergency Action Forum Series 2: Life | No Change No Chance”, specially calls for climate warriors from all walks of “life” to join us in finding a way out of this climate emergency, which threatens the survival, the lives, the ecosystem of us humans, and that of our planet. It is now, or never.
本次會議將主題擴展至極端氣候、氣候災害、全球暖化、熱島效應、建築、道路、土壤、農業、能源、水資源、空氣/水污染、調適/韌性、弱勢族群、婦女、孩童、島嶼、沙漠、海洋、生物、環境等主題以及其所對應的科學、政策、經濟、產業、工程、解決方案、原因與結果分析等跨學科領域。
The topics covered in this forum are: Extreme climate, climate disasters, global warming, heat island effect, construction, roads, soil, agriculture, energy, water resource, air/water pollution, adaptation/resilience, the vulnerable, women, children, islands, desert, ocean, biodiversity, environment. With categories of research, policy, economy, industry, construction, solution, cause and effects. We invite you to attend this forum, and together make a contribution for our planet’s environment and the betterment of humankind.
