Course Descriptions
*Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther (Scripture Press)
  Facilitator: Jim Fleager
This topic will run through Winter I & II

These three short books offer an abundant reward to all who turn to them. They are filled with exciting stories, intriguing characters, and rich spiritual insights. Ezra and Nehemiah narrate events in Jerusalem after a remnant of Judah returned from Babylonian captivity. Esther records some significant things that happened in the community of Jews just prior to their return from captivity. As queen of Persia, Esther was used by God to prevent the genocide of His people.

*When God Doesn't Answer: Woodrow Kroll
  Facilitator: Jim Widders
This topic will run through Winter I & II

Have you ever wondered if God hears your prayers or even cares?  In this study we are going to look at twelve typical attitudes or habits of Christians, that keep prayers from being answered or even heard. We will learn how to restore our vision of God, and offer some advice on keeping our prayer lines open to God.

*Advent (Right Now Media): Derwin Gray
  Facilitator: TBD
This topic will run through Winter I only

Who exactly is Jesus? What kind of God would come to earth as a human? As Christmas approaches, the season of Advent offers us a chance to reflect on our savior, his purpose, and the surprising ways he invited people near to him. Join pastor Derwin Gray in this five-session Advent study as he unveils King Jesus - the God-man who defied expectations, the king of all creation who humbled himself to serve and die, the friend to sinners who wants to lift us up.
