The core LitA modding team is comprised of 5 people, with several more external supporting consultants, including 3 sound designers. We aren't desperate for help, however it's not uncommon for enthusiastic people to make inquiries.
We're friendly, closed-knit, and there's no pressure to get work done (well, a little pressure). You're free to contribute as much time - or as little - as you want.
Helping out is great for young 3D artists and writers looking to get exposure. You'll have the opportunity to learn from experienced artists and writers and slap your name on your creations. Full credit is given, including the opportunity to author blog and guest posts both on and off-site, which can be particularly helpful for new writers starting out in the industry.
If you're interested, you are required to have prior, proven experience as a writer/3D artist. This doesn't have to be published work, but a desire to "help out" won't cut it. It's fine to learn and improve on-the-go, but we don't have time to be teaching the fundamentals of 3D or how to write engaging dialogue.
Prior FCS or modding experience is helpful, but not necessary. We can teach you everything you need to know about Kenshi's modding tools.
