Due to the current situation, Local Touch organisers are working to two plans depending what happens with the Alert Levels.

Plan A: (if we are close to or have reached Alert Level 2 by end of Term 3):
- We’ll work towards getting entries in by the end of term (Fri 3rd Oct).
- Starting as per original dates of 18th and 21st October (only if back in Level 1).
- Season the original 9 weeks in length.

Plan B: (if we are still in or only just out of Alert Level 4 by end of Term 3):
- We will wait until after the holidays to take entries – Plan B date Wed 20th Oct.
- New proposed start date 1st and 4th November (only if back in Level 1).
- It would mean a shortened season of 7 weeks.

Competition Information:
Games are played on Monday afternoons. The venue cannot be confirmed until the Council allocate all bookings. At this stage it looks like games will be played at Sunnynook Park.

Games are two 15 minutes halves, with no half time break. Game times will likely be 3.45pm, 4.15pm, 4.45pm, 5.15pm, 5.45pm, 6.15pm and 6.45pm. (Please note, these times are subject to change).

Cancellations will be broadcast by 2.00pm via the Local Touch website, the Local Touch managers email database and the Local Touch Facebook page. Coaches/manager will also communicate any cancellations.

Season draws and weekly results will be published on: www.localtouch.co.nz

Players are to wear their school PE uniform (if they have one) and suitable shoes. These can be rugby/football boots or regular sports shoes.

We rely on parental support for our teams. Each team is required to have a coach/manager, if you are interested in helping out a team, please fill in the relevant details on the booking form. If a team does not have a coach/manager then they may be pulled out of the competition.

Payments can be made at the school office or through internet banking.
School account: 12-3059-0468912-01. Reference "Touch" and your child's name. Please DO NOT make payment until your child has been confirmed in a team.
