Participants must be immigrants (all demographics welcomed) that currently live in Calgary.

During the workshop, participants will explore their relationship with the concept of home by talking about and visually representing their experiences through writing, drawing and mixed media. All workshop materials required will be supplied to you in a package delivered to your home address (or another address of your choice) ahead of the workshop. During the workshop, participants will draw, write and create on a series of material sheets (squares of material such as wood, paper etc.), where each sheet of material symbolizes layers that make up the home (walls, ceilings etc.). For each layer, you will be asked a question or prompt about your experience in Calgary and respond using the materials provided.
 
The workshop is scheduled for Saturday March 12th, from 3pm to 5pm MST.

Outcomes from this workshop will be exhibited at City Hall Station in Calgary from March 28 - April 15, 2022.
