As a Promotorx Transformational Educator you will be provided multiple opportunities that
provide critical insights into the world of education. PTEP activities are designed to support
the development of specialized knowledge, skills and perspectives that allow participants to
explore and experience how education can be transformational. Created and facilitated by Professor Marisol Ruiz, PTEP will teach students how to incorporate culturally sustaining pedagogies and counter-narratives into curriculum development to build educational experiences that are driven by students' personal and cultural strengths.

Before Filling our your application please read the following and take note of it:

- Space is limited to 20 participants
- Priority will be given but not limited to students who are:
 (1) preparing for credential programs,
 (2) who are interested in issues of social justice and education and
 (3) who are in the junior or senior year,
 (4) who agree to the schedule - working with children or youth and attending a conference.

However, all students – including freshmen and sophomores who are interested in learning more about education and teaching are encouraged to apply.  

Summer session will take place on May 16-20 and participants will be completing 40 hours of work (in order to get their stipend).

Application will be open until all positions fill. You will be receive notification about session information before the start date.
