THE PARENTS ASSOCIATION OF CLIFDEN COMMUNITY SCHOOL
As a Parents’ Association Committee, we need to be able to contact and inform parents about events, meetings, sharing information and as otherwise in accordance with the role of the Association as set down in the Education Act, 1998.
However, as of the 25th of May 2018, a new EU regulation called General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which replaces existing data protection legislation, means we must make sure that we have your permission to collect and use your personal data. Personal data is any information that identifies you, including your Name; Address; Telephone; Email address etc.
We will only keep your details on file for the period that you are a member of the Parent’s Association, but you can ask us to remove your details at any time.
To make sure our Parents’ Association Committee complies with GDPR we have a number of questions we need to ask you: (Please submit one form per parent/guardian)
