Maryland Grain Producers CDL Grant
The Maryland Grain Producers acknowledges the new law requiring a class for farmer members and their team to participate in a lengthy course to obtain their Class A CDL. To help with the financial burden of the class and dedication away from the farm, the Maryland Grain Producers are here to help. 

For the second year, we are offering two grants of $1,500 each to Maryland Grain Producer Association members. Complete the form below by March 1st! 

Requirements:
  • Must obtain a Maryland CDL A, with the goal to support the Maryland Grain industry for a minimum of 5 years.
  • Must have a schedule F or work for someone with a schedule F.
  • Farm must reside in the state of Maryland.
  • Family members may not have requested MD grain checkoff refunds in the last 12 months.
  • Must be a member of the Maryland Grain Producers Association, you can become a member here.
Next Steps:
  • Apply by March 1st.
  • Winners confirmed by June 1st.
  • Winners presented and announced at the 2024 Maryland Commodity Classic on July 25th.
  • Checks will be sent once the CDL A has been obtained.
