Are you the next member of Team USA Ringette?
Team USA Ringette will be competing in the 2023 World Ringette Championships held in Canada in October/November 2023 (Week 44). Exact location has yet to be released by the IRF, however, likely hosts are either Halifax, NS, CAN or a City in Alberta, CAN. For those interested in playing for Team USA in 2023, please complete the below form.
To play for Team USA at the 2023 World Ringette Championships, athletes must be a minimum of 16 years of age as of October 30, 2023 and meet one of the following criteria:
- American Citizen
- Permanent Resident in the USA
- Residing in the USA on a visa
- Parent is an American Citizen
- Grandparent is an American Citizen
A U18 WRC Event will also be undertaken at the 2023 World Ringette Championships and Team USA will also be submitting players for this event. This event will allow graduating U16 athletes the opportunity to take part in a high performance environment.
Athletes should make note of the following (proposed) tryout and training camp schedule and should make every effort to attend these events:
- Ottawa, ON, CAN Tryout/Training Camp (June 2-4, 2023)
- Bay City, MI, USA Tryout/Training Camp (August 11-13, 2023 OR August 18-20, 2023)
- Pre-Worlds Training Camp, CAN October 2023 (Weekend of Week 43)
- World Ringette Championships October/November 2023 (Week 44)
Registration is open from March 1st to April 10th, 2023. Registration Fees are listed below:
- Early Bird (March 1 - March 14): $175 USD
- Regular Registration (March 15 - April 10): $200 USD
