Schools That Lead: Application for Membership in NC Networked Improvement Communities, Cohort 3
Schools That Lead, in partnership with the NC General Assembly and the NC Department of Public Instruction, is excited to announce it will launch its third cohort of North Carolina Networked Improvement Communities for district and charter public schools seeking to improve learning outcomes for their students.

As early as the first quarter of kindergarten, research tells us which students are off-track for on-time high school graduation.  They meet the thresholds for early warning indicators in one or more of the following areas: attendance, behavior and course performance. Over the course of three school years, learning and using tools of Improvement Science, your team will learn how to reduce the number of students in your building with those early warning indicators, getting more students back on-track for choice-filled lives.

The NC General Assembly has invested in this work as a research-based strategy that allows accelerated improvement of student outcomes across the state.

·    Applications are due on Friday, September 2, 2022 by midnight and are to be completed by the school principal.
