Do you have any regular (i.e. weekly) academic scheduling conflicts with the BCSO rehearsal times? BCSO meets Mondays, 7:30-9:00 pm (strings and/or sectionals only) and Wednesdays, 7:10-9:40 pm (full orchestra). *
Are you auditioning to be considered for a PRINCIPAL role in BCSO?  Principal responsibilities may include solo parts, assisting the other musicians in your section with technical advice (for strings: fingerings and bowings), leading sectionals, and giving input about section seating (strings) or part assignments (winds/percussion). Student chamber groups typically rehearse on their own and receive weekly coachings from a faculty member, scheduled at the discretion of the group and coach. (If you express interest in chamber music, please note that your audition may be recorded for other faculty to view). *
