Stress Counseling through Podcast in Response of CoVid 19 is an initiative of Youth Thinkers’ Society in collaboration with the UN Women Nepal. The main objective of this initiative is to support the psychological well- being of people all across the country with special focus on the vulnerable population including women, youth and excluded groups. The initiative aims to identify, address and disseminate accurate information as well as provide possible interpretations with non-prescriptive suggestions in response to the psychological issues raised due to the current context of COVID 19 through Podcast
There will be a total of 20 episodes with recognized experts/counselors to provide counseling and psycho-social support. The episodes shall cover a wide range of target audience addressing the psychosocial issues faced by elderly, youth, children, men, women (including pregnant women’s concerns), vulnerable communities including frontline workers and LGBTIQ groups. The Podcast is broadcasted through local FM Stations of Province 2 and Sudurpashim Province in their local languages i.e. Bhojpuri, Maithili, Doteli and Tharu respectively. It is also available in all digital platforms making it available to all Nepali citizens.
