Activities run by the Sint Maarten Yacht Club Sailing School:
- Besides Sailing, activities include watersports, workshops, games, ropework, etc. It will not always be possible to maintain 6ft distance during these activities.
- All activities take place outdoors.
- For safety and instructional purposes, there may be contact between students and assistant instructors or coach. By operating in smaller groups contact will be reduced to a minimum but cannot be guaranteed.
- Temperature checks may take place at the beginning of each day.

Basic rules and Regulations to adhere to:
1. Maintain a distance of minimum 6ft (or more) away from all co- workers and customers. Encourage all parents/students/sailors to maintain this 6 ft distance at all times and as much as possible. Avoid physical touching or contact with coworkers and parents/students/sailors.
2. Pay attention to markings indicating Social Distancing Standards of minimum 6ft at office, gathering locations and restroom areas and also outside the establishment if necessary.
3. Employees/parents/students/sailors that are not well should report to their house doctor immediately.
4. All parents/students/sailors and employees must sanitize their hands before entering and exiting the establishment. Keep windows open for proper air circulation.
5. Everyone must wash their hands with water and soap after use of toilets. Restrooms must be kept clean at all times.
6. Cough or sneeze in your flexed elbow or in a tissue. Tissues must be disposed of immediately in a closed bin.
7. Face masks or “buffs” must be worn before and after being on the water and while being closer to each other than the required 6ft.

With signing this form, I hereby confirm to have read and agree with the above protocol that the Sint Maarten Yacht Club has put into place regarding the COVID-19 situation. I understand the risks that may be involved by letting my child participate in activities run by the Sint Maarten Yacht Club and will not hold the Sint Maarten Yacht Club liable in the event that one or more persons get infected with Covid-19.

With signing this form, I give permission to the organizers of activities at the SMYC to administer any relevant first aid treatment to the student named below when or if necessary. In an emergency situation I authorize the organizers to take the student named below to the hospital and give permission for any treatment required to be carried out in accordance with the hospital's diagnosis. I understand that I shall be notified, as soon as possible about any medical treatment needed. I am aware that the SMYC provides a liability insurance for damages to third parties.
I, the parent/guardian, am responsible for medical insurance for the student.

The SMYC may take photos of the student named below, I allow the SMYC to publish these on the SMYC website and social media, and for use in local promotional efforts.
