Each member is allowed two excused absences prior to each performance--if a student has more than two excused absences, it could affect seating, part, or participation in the upcoming concert. Please discuss excessive absences with your conductor.

Excused absences are those reported by 5pm on the Friday before the absence or those due to illness or family emergency (death in the family, for example). Concert absences should be EXTREMELY rare and communicated via this form AND conversation with your conductor at least 3 weeks in advance.

In the case of a positive COVID-19 diagnosis, students must follow CDC guidelines on isolation, quarantine, and masking.

Absences not reported by 5pm Friday prior to the missed rehearsal will not be considered excused (except in the case of illness or family emergency).
Additionally, students must inform their conductors of their absence. Please talk to or email your conductor after filling out this form.
