Our Teen Summer Program provides meaningful employment to local youth ages 14 - 19. We come together to learn and understand the relationship between land, plants/food, and body sovereignty, creating a deep knowing of and appreciation for community health and healing. Youth are immersed in all aspects of farmwork– from seed starting to planting, weeding, harvesting, and composting– and will develop nature-based skills such as mushroom cultivation, beekeeping, herbal medicine, and fermentation. We cultivate a space to share and learn from each other to address environmental, historical, and food-system injustices affecting our communities.
This Summer we will be accepting 20 teens into the program. If you are unable to join us this year please apply again next year !
