Hackney Creative Jazz Ensemble Application Form (minimum Grade 3 standard)
HCJE is led by a team of experienced HMS specialist jazz tutors. The band is supports instrumentalists who wish to further develop their improvisation, oral/aural skills, general musicianship and ensemble experience by performing a diverse range of jazz and other creative repertoire, and represent their schools by performing at a borough level. HCJE have performed regularly at venues such as the Hackney Empire, Round Chapel, Vortex and by invitation to many other special events.  HCJE meets on Tuesdays, 6pm at Bridge Academy.

Membership:
£35 per term for students who attend a Hackney School
£45 for students that live in Hackney but attend an out of borough school
£15 concession places are available for all pupil premium students (verified by school)
